To care for plated jewelry,  avoid exposing it to water, sweat, and harsh chemicals found  in perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products. Store your pieces  in a soft, separate pouch or jewelry box to prevent scratches  and tarnish. Clean jewelry with a soft, damp cloth after use  and periodically with warm water and a mild soap, ensuring it  is thoroughly dried before storing. 

Before Wearing Wait to put on jewelry: until after applying all cosmetics,  perfumes, and lotions. Ensure your hands are clean and free  of any residual product before touching your jewelry. 

While Wearing Remove jewelry: before showering, swimming, exercising, or doing  any activity that involves water or sweat. 

Avoid harsh chemicals: like hairspray, chlorine, and household  cleaners, as they can damage the plating. 

Take off jewelry before sleeping: to prevent moisture and  friction from dulling or damaging the plating.
